Revaluation Field Work Has Begun

Associated Appraisal Consultants, Inc. is the appointed assessor for the City of Dodgeville and has been contracted to complete a revaluation of all taxable property for the 2022 assessment year. The revaluation will establish new assessed values in an equitable fashion for all properties in the city as of the effective statutory date of January 1, 2022.

The assessors have begun onsite field work conducting reviews of property assessment records and will continue to do so over the next few weeks. Prior to this onsite visit you were mailed a letter from Associated Appraisal outlining the inspection process along with answers to common assessment questions.

All staff members from Associated Appraisal will carry a letter of introduction from the City of Dodgeville, a photo ID, and drive a red vehicle displaying the Associated Appraisal company name. If no one is home when visiting a property, a door hanger will be placed on the main entrance with property-specific instructions on how to schedule an interior review. Please wait for the door hanger to schedule your appointment – appointments are not available prior to this green tag. If you own rental property in the City, please inform your tenants that they will be visiting that property soon, so they can have their full cooperation for this review.
