Tree limbs and brush can be taken to the compost site on the east side of the East Side Cemetery. The entrance is the gravel drive on East Division St, just west of Diamond Oaks Drive. No garbage or building materials please, only compostable items.
Brush Pickup & Yard Waste
Brush Pickup Days
The City offers brush pickup days in the spring and fall each year. The 2025 dates are as follows:
- Monday, April 21st
- Monday, May 12th
- Monday, September 8th
- Monday, September 22nd
- Monday, October 20th
All brush must be placed at the curb by 7 am on the pick-up day.
Do not place brush with your regular garbage and recycling items.
Mulch and Compost Area
The city also has a compost area to drop tree limbs and regular compost. Please DO NOT leave bags, boxes, building supplies etc. there. City residents are encouraged to help themselves to the mulch and compost which is located on the east side of East Side Cemetery.
Disposal of leaves, yard waste, and brush - Available Year Round
Leaves, garden waste, grass clippings, flowers, and brush may be deposited at the appropriate locations in the Compost area on the east side of East Side Cemetery. Not boxes, bags, or garbage is allowed.
