A. Notice to Bidders: Qualified bidders are invited to submit sealed stipulated sum bids for Work required to complete Project as described in the Contract Documents.
Project Owner: City of Dodgeville
Project Title: Dodgeville Public Library Addition and Renovation
Project Location: 139 South Iowa Street, Dodgeville, Wisconsin
Architect & Engineers: Hammel, Green and Abrahamson, Inc.
B. Project Description: Project consists of the renovation of approximately 13,400 SF and the addition of approximately 7,000 SF to the existing Dodgeville Public Library;.and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents.
C. Single-Prime Contract: Construction Contract Bids will be received for Work performed under a Single Contract, including General Construction, Mechanical Work and Electrical Work.
A. Owner will receive sealed stipulated sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders as issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:
Bid Date: Monday, May 5, 2025
Bid Time: 2:00 pm
Location: City Hall Council Chambers, 100 East Fountain Street, Dodgeville, Wisconsin.
B. Bids will be received online only through QuestCDN.com for the City of Dodgeville.
C. Bid Security (Bond): Bid security of 5% is required with the submittal of each bid. See Section 002100 “Instructions to Bidders.”
D. Pre-Bid Meeting: A mandatory pre-bid meeting and tour for bidders to tour existing site and existing buildings will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Representatives of Architect and Owner will be present. Bidders shall assemble in the City Hall Council Chambers, 100 East Fountain Street, Dodgeville, Wisconsin.
E. Performance Bond: Upon Award of Contract, provide Performance and Payment Bond in amount of 100% of Contract Sum in accordance with General Conditions.
