Historic Preservation

Through the Historic Preservation Commission, the City of Dodgeville administers regulations concerning the exterior modification of properties that have been designated as locally historic through the issuance of a Certificate of Appropriateness.  The Commission also provides various educational programs that are intended to provide guidance and assistance with property owners that are interested in preserving and rehabilitating their historic properties.
