Building Inspector/Assistant Director of Public Works

BUILDING INSPECTOR / ASST DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS – The City of Dodgeville is accepting applications for a full-time Building Inspector / Assistant Director of Public Works position.  Duties include the administration and enforcement of the building and zoning regulations and assisting the planning and maintaining of the City’s public works facilities.  A full job description is available at www.cityofdodgeville.com.

Ideal candidates will have at least five years of experience in building inspection, building construction, engineering and/or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.  Possession of State of Wisconsin UDC inspector for construction, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.  Possession of State of Wisconsin Certified Soil Erosion Inspector.  Possession of State of Wisconsin Commercial Inspector for construction, electrical, HVAC and plumbing.
