Notice to Utility Customers Regarding June/July Billings

Important Notice

The City would like make Utility Customers aware that due to a software glitch, Water Department staff were unable to read meters last month.  This was a software issue that affected several other municipalities.  Recently recieved bills (due July 20th) are based only on service charges that were automated from the City's billing program.  If you feel that the bill you received is much too low, you are encouraged to pay your usual amount or use your last month's statement.  Anything additional will be applied towards your next balance.  This will allow you to avoid a larger than normal bill due in August.  If you feel your bill is much higher than expected, please call City Hall 608-930-5228 to speak to the Utility Staff. 

The meter reading software has been fixed, and the City expects to resume normal water reading and billing in August.
