OVERVIEW

The Gary C. Comer Pool, formerly known as the Dodgeville City Pool, was built in 1988.  Gary C. Comer (Founder of Lands’ End) generously contributed to the City for the Pool to be built back in 1987. In 2007, the City renamed the pool the “Gary C. Comer Pool” in his honor. It has two pools – the main pool features a 2 ft. shallow end with stair entry, a hydraulic chair lift for those who need assistance in and out of the water, a lap lane, a slide and a 14 ft. deep end with two diving boards. The wading pool is for children ages 5 and under who are accompanied by an adult and features a zero depth entry and bubbling tower fountain to splash around.

The pool is open the first full week after Dodgeville School summer release through the last full week before Labor Day, pending staffing.
