Umpires

UMPIRES: The City of Dodgeville will be accepting applications for the 2022 summer season.  Responsible for all field decisions and rule interpretations for Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth and SWCL games, maintaining a safe playing environment, explaining calls to participants and completing required paperwork. Diamond maintenance hours can also be an added responsibility. Must be 16 years of age, have completed 9th grade and have firm grasp of softball/baseball. Time Frame: EVENINGS. End of May through end of July Hours: Part time, mostly evenings and late afternoons. For Baseball & Softball. Pay Scale: $20.00 Hr up to $33.33/HR depending on league.  Applications are available by contacting the Dodgeville City Hall, 100 East Fountain, Dodgeville, between 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, phone 608-930-1011 or by visiting https://dodgevillewi.gov/.
