Position Responsibilities
Performs a variety of routine and complex public safety work consisting of preventative patrol, community policing activities, criminal investigations, car crash investigations, enforcement of State Statutes, enforcement of Municipal Ordinances, first responder responsibilities, traffic control activities, provides emergency response to citizen requests, and performs all other police functions within the City of Dodgeville

* Sign-on Bonus--$2,500 upon starting and $5,000 on your three-year anniversary date. This is offered to current Law Enforcement Officers with at least three years of patrol or equivalent experience

• Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification

• Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
• No domestic abuse convictions

• React quickly and effectively to stressful situations
